Performance and Quality Testing

The performance and quality testing department supports their members in introduction and implementation of international (ICAR) and national (BRS) standards, the development of the recording of characteristic traits, the establishment of new traits, production advice (including market issues) and animal identification. Furthermore, the department coordinates standards for stationary performance testing in pigs, trainings for technicians and regular expert meetings to exchange experiences with pig producer networks and producer groups.

The department makes use of different groups of experts, e.g. for data exchange, carrying out the dairy herd improvement, milk analysis, recording and sampling devices as well as experts for human resources and finance.
